Thoughts From Dan

I believe that we achieve our best results in life through consistency. My spiritual life revolves around 4 regular practices: Regular Worship; Regular Bible Study; Regular Prayer; and Regular Tithing.

Thoughts From Trudy

As my parent's only daughter, I have always enjoyed a particularly close relationship with my Mother. She has been my biggest cheerleader and encourager from the time I was a child.

Mom is now 88 years old, but she continues to challenge me with her zeal for life. She studies God's Word, walks 1-2 miles every day, organizes her home, plays the piano and is a prayer warrior for the business, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren every day. She is my mother, but she doesn't just inspire me; she's an inspiration to everyone she meets.

My brothers, Bubba and Dan, also inspire me. As young children, we had to learn quickly to get along and work with each other on our family farm. As teenagers, we learned to appreciate each other and to also hold each other accountable. We went on dates together, played music together (I played the piano and clarinet), went to church together and learned to share our faith with our friends from church and school. As adults we recognize that God has wired us differently and that our personalities are unique - but our core values and beliefs are tightly woven, making us a strong team.

The Bible says that a person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer… But three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. Eccl 4:12

I married John White 33 years ago, and he has been my true partner and best friend ever since. Throughout our marriage we have enjoyed working and serving together in our community - whether in Alabama, Brazil, Virginia or at home here in Atlanta. We also share a common interest to maximize our influence by impacting the lives of young people and groups around the world.

God has given John and me the richest blessings we could have ever hoped for in the lives of our four children. Each one is uniquely gifted and has a strong desire to honor us and each other while pleasing the Lord. Three of our children are now married, and we are equally proud of our daughter-in-law & son-in laws who share our values of faith, family, trust and stewardship.

Our family is growing with five grandchildren and two more on the way. Children have always been a passion for me, so my time with our grandchildren is just about as "sweet" as it gets! We sing funny songs in the car, read books, talk about Bible stories, make up silly stories, cook pancakes on Saturday mornings… and I even substitute as their teacher for home school classes when needed.

Once a year we take a family vacation with all of our children and grandchildren, and I wouldn't trade those experiences for all of the riches in the world. We also spend a long weekend with our children and their spouses (without grandchildren) just to talk, listen and spend some purposeful/planned and uninterrupted time together as a family.

Family is certainly a value I hold dear, and I thank God every day for blessing me with the special people He has put in my life.
