Thoughts From Trudy

I believe that we achieve our best results in life through consistency. My spiritual life revolves around 4 regular practices: Regular Worship; Regular Bible Study; Regular Prayer; and Regular Tithing.

Thoughts From Dan

My decision to make Jesus my Master was settled when I was 11 or 12 years old, and it was because of His impact on my life that I was able to confidently choose my mate - my sweetheart - Rhonda.

I met my wife, Rhonda, when I was just six years old and she was completely covered in cooties. I have actual memories of chasing her around the playground and throwing rocks at her… to try and knock the cooties off.

We attended the same school through sixth grade, but then my parents moved me to a new school and I didn't see her again for almost four years. I started attending First Baptists Church of Jonesboro when I was a sophomore in high school.

When I walked into the youth choir room for the first time, I recognized Rhonda immediately and was stunned at the incredible metamorphosis that had taken place… there wasn't a single cootie to be found!

It might not have been love at first sight, but it was certainly love. From that point on, I was smitten, and thus began our courtship, which has turned into almost 40 wonderful years of marriage with my Mate.

God has blessed us with two amazing kids: Andrew and Ross, and our family is starting to grow with the addition of Andrew's beautiful wife, Mandy, and their new daughter (the most beautiful grandchild on the planet), Palmer Lane.

My Mission in life - my "job" - is to lead and serve others well with the gifts I have been given, and to be a good steward of all God has entrusted to me at Chick-fil-A. And I know that the greatest contribution I will ever make to Chick-fil-A is remembering who my Master is, and being the husband I need to be to Rhonda and the dad I need to be to Andrew and Ross.
