The Summer of A Lifetime!
Outside of the influence of my parents, my ten years as a camper and staff member at Camp Crestridge for Girls in North Carolina did more to impact my life and challenge me to grow in my love for God and others than any other experience. Now, some 30 years later, God has put me back in camp and is allowing me the joy of influencing the lives of hundreds of girls.
As Girl’s Director for WinShape Camps, I have the unique and humbling opportunity to get involved in the lives of young people and encourage others to do the same. Having raised four wonderful children, I recognize how critical it is that young people today have role models who will influence their lives in a positive way.
It’s probably true that the most important lessons of life are usually “caught” not “taught.” Knowing this, we select the most qualified summer staff to work in our camps each summer. You will find every summer staff member committed to honoring God and passionate about modeling Christ for every girl and boy.
WinShape Camps offers a variety of programs including day camps and overnight camps, and this year, we are offering the first-ever WinShape Camps One-Week Overnight Camp for Girls!
Because of such a great response in attendance through the years, we are thrilled to announce the opening of our one-week overnight camp for girls in Young Harris, GA. Young Harris College is located at the base of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in North Georgia and will serve as the perfect location for our new Girl’s One-Week Overnight program.
The moment I stepped onto the campus for the very first time, I knew that God was about to expand our opportunity to influence the lives of young girls in this beautiful place. Campers, counselors, parents and WinShape Foundation leadership will all be blessed by the pristine surroundings and the unique opportunities YHC offers to play, learn and grow throughout each week.
