Returning Home

I received the following email from one of our Chick-fil-A Operators earlier today. Please read his note and then watch the beautiful video...

"The Mt Dora Chick-fil-A Restaurant had the great joy of being the location chosen as the reunion of a military soldier and his family after his serving three tours in Afghanistan. Sgt Chris Reed with the US Army of the 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum New York, surprised his wife, Amy and three year old daughter Kaylinn.

Amy exploded with tears and a great shout of joy as she leaped out of her chair to embrace her husband whom she had not seen for eighteen months. Family, friends, restaurant staff and unaware customers broke out in a steady round of applause for the couple. Tears could be seen on just about everybody. Amy’s parents, Craig and Annette Chandler were involved with the set up for the reunion. During the long separation the Chandler family started a tradition of dining at the Mt. Dora Chick-fil-A every Tuesday night for Family Night..."
