What do you do with Sunday?

It’s no secret that those of us who are employed by Chick-fil-A don’t have to show up for work on Sundays. My dad established that policy a long time ago so that Chick-fil-A employees could rest, spend time with loved ones and attend worship services… and that’s exactly what I do.

In fact, about three Sundays out of every month, I have the privilege of taking my parents to church. These Sundays together are special because they not only bring back memories of childhood, they also give us the chance to catch up and discuss the many things (outside of work) that are important to us.

After church we usually go out to lunch, but since our favorite restaurant is closed, we improvise. Truth is, it doesn’t really matter where we eat or what we end up doing on Sundays... The important thing to me is that we are together.
