" Love the lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. "

Deuteronomy 6:5

I am currently serving as Senior Vice President of Chick-fil-A, Inc. and President of Dwarf House, Inc., but Chick-fil-A has been a part of my life ever since I can remember.

Some of my earliest memories are of me working with my brother and sister at the original (Hapeville) Dwarf House - singing jingles, entertaining customers and picking up trash. I even spent some time scraping gum from underneath tables!

Along the way, I have worked in various capacities at several different restaurants. After graduating from college in 1975, I built three Chick-fil-A restaurants: Albany, Myrtle Beach, and Southlake Mall. From 1976 to 1980, I was the operator of the Southlake Mall Chick-fil-A and during those years, I truly developed my love of serving people.

Presently, I enjoy overseeing our Dwarf House and Truett's Grill restaurants as well as my foundation responsibilities such as, WinShape Homes, which are long-term foster homes; a team-building program called WinShape Wilderness; and WinShape Retreat, a marriage enrichment center on the campus of Berry College in Northwest Georgia.

These are all very important parts of my life, and I am grateful for the opportunities God has afforded me through my family and business, but there's more:
